What is the Supplies Fee Used For?

The supplies fee helps cover the cost of essential materials and resources needed to support a high-quality learning environment. This includes:

  • Classroom supplies (crayons, markers, paper, glue, scissors, etc.)
  • Art and sensory materials (paint, playdough, craft supplies)
  • Cleaning and sanitation supplies to maintain a healthy environment
  • Rest mats, blankets, or nap-time essentials as needed
  • Curriculum materials (books, learning aids, manipulatives)
  • Outdoor play and gross motor equipment maintenance
  • Miscellaneous consumables that support daily activities

What is the Application Fee Used For?

The application fee helps cover administrative costs related to processing new and returning enrollments. This includes:

  • Processing paperwork and enrollment forms
  • Maintaining waitlists (affiliated systems) and managing class rosters (affiliated systems)
  • Time spent reviewing and verifying required documents (e.g., immunization records – IRIS, emergency contacts – added to build out Brighwheel profile.)
  • System updates in Brightwheel or other software used for communication and billing.
  • Orientation and onboarding materials for new families.
  • Meetings and gatherings with families outside normal hours.
  • Securing a child’s spot for the upcoming school year
  • Office supplies (ink, paper, folders, labels, laminating materials, folders, binders, tape, glue, batteries)
  • Technology costs (printers, computers, software licensing for record-keeping and communication)
  • Staff time spent on enrollment inquiries, follow-ups, and parent communication.
  • Background checks and administrative compliance costs
